the indie lumberjack.

i’m the lumberjack.

i’m a writer, possible hipster, a music critic, a gamer, a beard grower, a plaid enthusiast, and a lover of all things indie.

i have a few goals in my life:

1. write a novel and get it published.
2. work for alternative press magazine or for game informer magazine.
3. be an activist.
4. remove the negativity surrounding the word hipster.
5. not dying alone.

i write about music, hardcore/indie/etc. music. i sing. i am not an expert in the literal sense of the definition, but i like to consider myself a musical connoisseur…but the reality of it is that i consider myself to be something of an expert.

i nerd out about technology and i’m a big fan of video games. i work at gamestop.

so i guess this is me:

1. i’m cody.
2. i’m 21.
3. i graduate college this year with a bachelor’s in political science and communications.
4. i have no idea what i’m going to do with my life.
5. i have atrocious anxiety.
