scary…like a fox.
damn nature, you scary.
so i was walking back from my international film class, talking to my good friend and manager, nick r. on the phone…and saw a fox. a cute, cuddly, sort of scary if you’re lower on the food chain than it is, fox. i figured it would run away if i walked towards it since i outweigh it by like twenty a dozen times it’s body weight…but instead it started sprinting towards me like a cheetah.
the fox started sprinting at me like a cheetah.
i ran to the closest building, where it chased me up to the door, all while still on the phone. so not only did i have the fear of being mauled by a tiny animal that might have rabies, my manager at my job heard the entire thing.
there is of course a deeper issue of campus security and animal control and all that important student safety type thing…but i’m mostly just concerned that i got chased by an animal…more so that i was frightened by said animal.
this is why night classes need to end before 9:30pm. nature comes out to play at night, and it has sharp pointy teeth and an iron will.
