Not Without A Fight
So, I was not a fan of New Found Glory until recently. I would make regular jokes at the expense of my friend Eric that the band should actually be called “New Found Talent, but only out of irony” [yes...I am well aware that I am a jerk.] but upon hearing their new album, Not Without a Fight, they have a new fan.
The album starts off with “Right Where We Left Off” [fitting huh?] and it hooks you right from the beginning. The intro is fantastic and sets the mood for the rest of the album.
My favorite track off of the album is “Listen to Your Friends” [it was also the first single off of the album]. Something about the song just rubs me the right way, the vocals are great and the music behind them is also pretty great.
The album ends with the song “Don’t Let This Be the End”, and I hope it’s not.
