So I bought Resident Evil 5 the day it came out [Friday the 13th] and have been playing it ever since. It is a huge upgrade from Resident Evil 4 and that in itself is a daring feat.

Game-play is pretty different because you now have *cue drumroll* ….A PARTNER! Woo! Instead of that dumb blonde bimbo from RE4, you know have someone who is competant and can fire a weapon! Yay covering fire! You can trade weapons, ammo, items, etc with your partner and do cool “cooperative actions” with them.

Welcome to Resident Evil 5! Yes...he is bleeding from his eyes.

The new setting [Africa] is pretty interesting because of the culture, although it tends to get slightly stereotypical later on in the game.

Let us move on to the game’s plot twists.

THERE ARE SO MANY OF THEM IT’S RIDICULOUS

Did I mention you can do split-screen Co-op AND Co-op over Xbox Live? Well you can.

Overall, there were a lot of areas in this game that could have been scarier rather than action-ier [?]. But even with this minor problem, the game is amazing. Well worth the $60 asking price.

Enjoy the “fear you can’t forget”.

Cody.
