The Soundtrack of Life: Scrubs

February 18th, 2009 § Leave a Comment

So, upon watching Scrubs nightly at 8pm on Comedy Central, I’ve discovered that Zach Braff and the writers of the show have an excellent choice of music. There is rarely a night where the ending music isn’t superb in quality.

ScrubsEarlier this week, it was the “New Slang” by the Shins. Excellent. The song was so excellent that I went right on to iTunes[which is now the bane of my existence] and I bought the song.

Last week it was “Dreaming of You” by The Coral. Gahhh, this song is remarkably fantastic.

Anyways, the main point I want to make in this post is that there is always a way to find legitimately good music in odd places. Take Scrubs, like I said, as an example.

Each episode [usually] ends with a pretty good song. So all you have to do is listen at the end, find the name of the episode…and search!

Happy Listening.
