Sounds like you had a rough day!

First off, let me pay my respects to your cell phone. It sounds like the LG Chocolate isn't very reliable, which is nice to know since I have Verizon too and I'm planning on getting a new phone soon. I hope your next one doesn't have such a tragic life.

Secondly, man, that church stuff you said really grinds my gears too. I'm actually reading a book now that touches the subject. It's called "UnChristian" and it's about how Christian people do SO many UnChristian things, and how that affects the way other people see them and even see God Himself. It's so sad how Christians fall into that kind of mess.

But you're right. Those two really had no business boasting about their donations like that. Sure we are told to give money to God, like in 1 Corinthians 16. But what they give is between them and God. It kind of reminds me of how God tells us to pray. "And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by men... but when you pray, go in your room, close the door and pray..." (Matt. 6:5-6).

God can't stand people bragging like that. He'll take care of them and show them that it's wrong. But meanwhile, I'm sorry you're having so much trouble at church. Next time you get upset, feel free to call me up or message me and totally blow off your steam. Not only do I not like the thought of you being upset, but I also can't stand the thought of people affecting your thought of church and God because of pride and hypocrisy. It's DEFINITELY not what you should see at church.

(I love how my comments are almost as long as your blogs. Haha. Thank you, Thank you.)

Take care!
